Pursuant to Article 37 of the Act of July 20, 2017—Water Law (Journal of Laws of 2023, Item 1478, as amended) The Wągrowiec Municipal Office submits a request to include in the list of bathing areas a designated section of surface water in the village of Kamienica, where a bathing area is planned to be established. II Bathing Area – Kamienica 1) Name and address of the organizer: Wągrowiec Municipal Office, with its registered office at: ul. Cysterska 22, 62–100, Wągrowiec. 2) Name and address or location of the planned bathing area Municipal bathing area on Lake Kaliszańskie, located in the village of Kamienica on parcel No. 112/1, Kaliszany cadastral district, adjacent to plot No. 112/3, Kaliszany cadastral district, Wągrowiec Municipality. 3) Specification of the shoreline length: The current length of the bathing area’s shoreline is 50 m, and, in accordance with the project titled “Modernization of the Kaliszańskie Lake Waterfront and Development of the Beach in the Village of Kamienica,” the shoreline length will ultimately be approximately 80.00 m. The plan is to leave the existing trees and preserve the vegetation, including reeds, intact, while designating a zone for swimmers up to 50 m from the shoreline. In the shallow waters east of the beach, there are areas with charophyte meadows; therefore, access to these areas is restricted and swimming is prohibited there. 4) Estimated maximum daily number of people using the swimming area The estimated number of people using the swimming area in Kamienica during the summer averages approximately 150 people per day. The number of people using the swimming area was recorded by lifeguards; the figure provided is an estimate. 5) Indication of the opening and closing dates of the swimming area during the previous 2023 season. The swimming area was open from July 1 to August 31, 2023. In connection with the opening of the swimming area in Kamienica from July 1 to August 31, 2023, three lifeguards were employed there; the swimming area was properly marked and equipped with water rescue equipment, and the necessary water tests were conducted. 6) Bathing area infrastructure, including sanitary facilities—SANITARY FACILITIES In 2011, a sanitary and technical building was constructed, equipped with restrooms, showers, a lifeguard station, and a storage room. The newly constructed facility serves as the beach’s restroom complex. - WASTE CONTAINERS There are four 1,100-liter containers located within the swimming area, as well as small street trash cans placed throughout the area; additionally, the following were purchased in 2017 – 4 waste containers – 240 liters. 7) Specification of the opening and closing dates for the swimming area during the 2024 season. In connection with the planned opening of the swimming areas on Kamienica Beach, from July 1 to August 31, 2024, three lifeguards will be on duty at the swimming areas; the swimming area will be marked and equipped with water rescue equipment, and appropriate water tests will be commissioned.
