The swimming area is located at 7 Jeziorna Street, on Lake Pamiątkowskie, on limestone bedrock with a high Schindler coefficient, and is polymictic. An asphalt road leads to the swimming area. Within its boundaries, there are three recreational piers and a sandy beach. Located by the beach are a wooden shelter with benches and tables, and a changing room. The swimming area is equipped with a food service facility, public restrooms, and a water sports equipment rental shop. It is open during the swimming season each year, in accordance with a resolution of the Szamotuły City and Municipality Council. During this period, visitors to the bathing area are supervised by lifeguards. No large industrial, commercial, or transportation facilities have been identified in the bathing area’s watershed that could negatively impact water quality. The only hypothetical risk of short-term pollution may come from domestic wastewater or surface runoff from agricultural areas. These may occur as a result of illegal discharges of domestic wastewater, accidents, or irresponsible behavior on the part of users of facilities located on the lake near the swimming area, as well as by persons generally using the waters (as defined by the Water Law). The results of regular water quality tests conducted at the bathing area do not indicate that water quality is deteriorating. The risk of contamination of the bathing area’s waters or the appearance of microorganisms that could have a negative impact on human health is not high, provided that no significant changes in infrastructure occur within the watershed and no persistent factor that degrades the environmental condition emerges.
