The swimming area is located in Licheń Stary on the eastern shore of Lake Licheńskie, in an area adjacent to Bosmanówka. In the immediate vicinity of the swimming area, there are recreational areas, restaurants, playgrounds, an outdoor gym, and water equipment rentals. The swimming area is bordered on two sides by piers. The beach is sandy. The lake is characterized by a high calcium content and a large catchment area. Lake Licheńskie is located within a protected area that is part of the Goplańsko-Kujawski Protected Landscape Area. The lake is designated as a quiet zone; only kayaks, pedal boats, and rowboats are permitted on the water. Access to the swimming area is directly from the parking lot managed by the Volunteer Fire Department in Licheń Stary. There are pay-to-use restrooms near the beach.
