The OAZA-BŁONIE swimming area is located in the Kórnik Municipality on the northwestern shore of Lake Kórnickie. The swimming area is used primarily for recreational purposes. Two 25-meter-long piers extend toward the lake, connected at their ends by a third pier that encloses the swimming area in a rectangular shape. Beachgoers have access to straw umbrellas and lounge chairs, as well as pedal boats, rowboats, and kayaks. The beach along the lake’s shoreline is over 50 meters long and is mostly covered with grass in the central section, but fresh sand has been piled right at the water’s edge. Showers, a changing room, and restrooms are located nearby. During the summer season, from June 19 to September 1, the swimming area is supervised by qualified lifeguards. For those looking for active recreation, there’s a water volleyball net—in the non-swimmers’ zone—as well as ball games right on the beach; a little further away, there’s a basketball court, a soccer field, and three beach volleyball courts, as well as ping-pong tables, foosball, and—for the youngest visitors—a modern playground with swings, a carousel, a slide, and a climbing pyramid. For the little ones, there’s also a new sandbox, a water slide, and a safe wading pool. In the immediate vicinity, there are designated barbecue areas with benches and tables, as well as a campground with cabins, a tent field, spaces for RVs, and parking lots. For water sports enthusiasts and thrill-seekers, there’s a real treat in store—Wake Park Kórnik. Dining options are provided by the “Tawerna pod Żaglami” restaurant, which offers a wide selection of fresh fish dishes, traditional lunch fare, and the ever-popular Italian ice cream. A unique attraction at “Tawerna pod Żaglami” are the boat cruises offered by the “White Fleet,” which sails regularly from the marina located right next to the Błonia swimming area to the area below the castle, situated near the famous Kórnik Castle and the arboretum park.
