KCRiS OAZA-Błażejewko is located in an incredibly charming area by Lake Bnińskie, far from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday worries. It’s worth visiting this place to completely relax and connect with nature, which surrounds visitors on all sides. Lake Bnińskie, located in the southern part of the Kórnik municipality, is one of the largest lakes in the region. The lake’s surface area is 225 hectares. The lake was formed by the melting of dead ice masses that had accumulated in a deep trough carved out by the waters of a retreating glacier. Its average depth is 4.2 meters, while its maximum depth is 8.5 meters. The low, partially forested shores make Lake Bnińskie a local mecca for anglers. The numerous species of fish found in its waters and the varied lake bottom further enrich and enhance the fishing experience. The picturesque areas surrounding the lake are an ideal place for hiking and walking. In addition, a bicycle trail known as Łęgi Nadwarciańskie runs along the western shore of Lake Bnińskie. The Szyja Peninsula, which juts deeply into the waters of Lake Bnińskie, is a unique place both in terms of nature and history. It is the oldest settlement area in the Kórnik region, which gave rise to the town of Bnin. Traces of a fortified settlement built by Mieszko I’s father, Siemomysł, have been found there.
