The swimming area is located on the former Zakrzówek reservoir, which covers an area of approximately 17 ha. The maximum depth of the reservoir is 32 m, and the average depth is approximately 23 m. The swimming area is marked off by floating docks and pool basins of various depths (350 cm, 120 cm, 80 cm, and 40 cm), which are designated for swimmers, non-swimmers, and children. The swimming area is open during the summer season (i.e., from June to September), Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday is a maintenance day, and the swimming area is closed. Water quality is tested as part of internal inspections conducted by the facility’s operator at least three times during the swimming season. Additionally, the water is inspected by the State District Sanitary Inspector in Kraków. The reservoir is surrounded by the green spaces of Zakrzówek Park, which is rich in diverse flora and fauna.
