The reservoir at 4 Rybacka Street in Opole Lubelskie is one of the favorite summer recreation spots for residents of the city and surrounding towns. Located near the historic narrow-gauge railway station, it offers pedal boat and kayak rentals, a beach soccer field, a water obstacle course, and lifeguard supervision. The clean water and peaceful surroundings make the swimming area attractive not only to residents of Opole Lubelskie but also to tourists. In the summer, the Opole Cultural Center organizes outdoor events here, featuring concerts, sports competitions, and fun activities and games for the whole family. The most important part of the area in question is the Municipal Bathing Area, which is administered by the Opole Cultural Center in Opole Lubelskie. The rules for using the “Municipal Bathing Area” are set forth in the Bathing Area Regulations. The Municipal Swimming Area was included in the list of swimming areas by Resolution No. XXI/162/2026 of the Opole Lubelskie City Council dated March 27, 2026, regarding the list of bathing areas and the determination of the 2026 bathing season within the city of Opole Lubelskie.
