Lake Józefowo is located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in Toruń County, within the Lubicz Municipality in the village of Józefowo. Picturesquely situated, Lake Józefowo covers an area of 5.55 ha. It is located about 10 km from Toruń, surrounded by beautiful pine forests. Lake Józefowo is a body of water with no surface inflows; it is fed by groundwater and precipitation. The average depth of the lake is 4 m, while the maximum depth is 12 m. The beach adjacent to the swimming area is sandy, with a shoreline length of 57 m. The Józefowo swimming area is used for recreational purposes and features, among other things: rentals of water sports equipment such as kayaks and pedal boats, a volleyball court, a designated bonfire area, and a parking lot.
