The swimming area is supervised by a lifeguard daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from July 1, 2026, through August 31, 2026. The beach facility is open until 8:00 p.m. The “Plaża Miejska” swimming area in Barlinek is located at 2 Sportowa Street, on Lake Barlineckie. Lifeguards ensure the safety of beachgoers on site, and water quality is monitored by the District Sanitary Inspector in Myślibórz. It consists of a land area—a sandy beach covering approximately 3,000 m²—and a water area covering approximately 7,350 m². The water area of the swimming area, separated from the open waters of the lake by a pier, has two swimming zones: one for non-swimmers—from the shore to the yellow buoys—and one for swimmers—from the shore to the red buoys. The lake bottom in the swimming area is flat and sandy. The so-called “paddling pool” area for children is separated from the rest of the swimming area.
