The swimming area in City Park is located on Drzymały Street in the town of Wolsztyn, on Lake Wolsztyńskie, which is a through-flow lake on the Dojca River. The swimming area features a sandy beach that slopes gently toward the shoreline, which also serves as the access point to a wooden pier with a lookout point. A sightseeing boat that operates on Lake Wolsztyńskie also docks at the pier. The swimming area is equipped with restrooms, showers, and changing rooms, and a volleyball court is set up periodically. There are benches and trash cans on the beach, and the bathing area is regularly cleaned by maintenance crews. Near the swimming area, there is a water sports equipment rental shop (pedal boats, kayaks, rowboats) and a playground. The swimming area can be reached via the alleys or bike paths of the City Park, which is the largest green space in Wolsztyn. Additional attractions include the Crane Trail running around Lake Wolsztyńskie and the historic palace-complex in the Municipal Park; the bathing area itself is located within areas subject to nature conservation measures, namely: the Sławskie Lake District Protected Landscape, the Obra River Glacial Valley, and the Zbąszyń Trough.
