The swimming area is located on the right bank of Lake Wałpusz in the municipality of Szczytno. It is situated on the grounds of the Wałpusz Center of the Police Academy in Szczytno. According to the permit issued, the swimming area will be open during the 2024 season from July 1 to August 31, 2024. The swimming area features a sandy beach with easy access to the water and a floating dock. Next to the beach, there is a playground for children and a beach volleyball court. The Wałpusz Center grounds are fenced. Restrooms are available for visitors to the swimming area. Tests conducted between 2013 and 2014 showed that the ecological potential, chemical status, and status of the water body of Lake Wałpusz all fall within the “GOOD” category. The results of water tests in the lake and at the swimming area, conducted by the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Szczytno, confirm that swimming here is very safe.
