The COS-OPO swimming area in Giżycko is located in the western part of the COS-OPO Yacht Harbor on the shore of Lake Kisajno—which is the southernmost body of water in the Mamry complex and also the last lake belonging to it. It borders the western shores of Giżycko. The lake is 8.5 km long and has a maximum width of 3 km. Its surface area is 1,896 ha. The average depth of the lake is 8.4 m, and its maximum depth is 25 m. To the north, it connects with Lake Dargin. Two canals branch off from the lake’s southern shore, leading to Lake Niegocin. The eastern canal is known as the Giżycko (Łuczański) Canal and runs through the center of Giżycko. The western canal is called the Piękna Góra Canal and leads to Lake Tajty and then, via the Niegociński Canal, to Lake Niegocin. Download the water profile for the swimming area
