The swimming area in Bliżyn is conveniently located near National Road 42 and National Road 7, which connects to it, making it much easier to reach from seemingly distant towns. The area around the swimming area underwent a thorough renovation in 2025. The swimming area is surrounded by a free parking lot for about 60 cars, restrooms, a shower, and a changing room. The swimming area, featuring a distinctive horseshoe-shaped pier, a designated children’s section, and a beach, is seamlessly connected to a playground, an outdoor fitness area, a brine graduation tower, a pump track, and beach volleyball courts. Lifeguards are on duty at the swimming area throughout its operating season. The reservoir is surrounded by an illuminated promenade, which also serves as a section of the hiking trail known as the “Hell Trail,” complete with a gazebo, as well as Nordic walking paths. There is also a forest park by the reservoir with paths and benches for those seeking rest and shelter from the sun. During the summer, food stands and rental services for water sports equipment and ATVs open by the reservoir. The swimming area is directly connected to the town center via a footbridge over the weir; the town center is accessible by public transportation. Information about the swimming area is available at the Bliżyn Municipal Office and on its website. The swimming area has been in operation since 2018; in previous years, a bathing area was maintained in the same location.
