Lake Mausz is a trough lake with an area of 3.86 km² and a maximum depth of 45 m. The lake is surrounded by private recreational properties and several seasonal vacation resorts. The lake is part of the Gowidlin Protected Landscape Area, which is included in the buffer zone of the “Słupia Valley” Landscape Park. It is designated as a quiet zone.
