The swimming area on Lake Ocypel Wielki is located in the village of Ocypel, Lubichowo Municipality, Starogard County (Pomeranian Voivodeship), on plot no. 590. The plot in question, comprising the land beneath the waters of Lake Ocypel Wielki, is owned by the State Treasury, on whose behalf ownership rights are exercised by the Agricultural Property Agency, headquartered in Warsaw. Adjacent to the bathing area is plot No. 444, owned by the Warsaw Chapter of the Polish Scouting Association (ZHP), headquartered at 4 Piaskowa Street, Warsaw 01-067, part of which constitutes the bathing area’s beach. Furthermore, in accordance with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of June 27, 2006, on the boundaries of river basins and water regions (Journal of Laws of 2006, No. 126, item 878, as amended), this area is located within the Lower Vistula water region. In accordance with the aforementioned Regulation, this region is administered by the Regional Water Management Authority in Gdańsk, with its headquarters at ul. ks. Fr. Rogaczewskiego 9/19, 80-804 Gdańsk. The waters of the bathing area are part of Lake Ocypel Wielki, which is included in the List of Protected Areas and Surface Waters for Fish Habitation maintained by the Gdańsk Regional Water Management Directorate—List No. 4.
