The designated swimming area is located 50 meters from the Seaside Boulevard in Gdynia and covers a section of water extending 100 meters along the shoreline and 30 meters out to sea. Water quality tests at the swimming area during the 2025 season showed no microbiological exceedances. Swimming was prohibited twice due to the occurrence of a cyanobacterial bloom. There is a possibility of a cyanobacterial bloom occurring during the 2026 season. The proximity of the marina and the storm sewer located near Piłsudskiego Avenue may affect water quality at the bathing area.
