The designated swimming area is located 50 meters from the old “torpedo factory” in Gdynia and covers a section of water extending 100 meters along the shoreline and 30 meters out to sea. Water quality tests at the swimming area during the 2025 season showed no exceedances. Swimming was prohibited twice due to cyanobacterial blooms. Cyanobacterial blooms may occur during the 2026 season. The proximity of a settlement and a fishing harbor may affect water quality at the bathing area.
