Średnie Lake in Turawa—large beach—west side. According to the current water quality assessment issued by the State District Sanitary Inspector in Opole on June 14, 2024, the water at the swimming area is suitable for swimming. WOPR lifeguards are on duty at the swimming area from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Średnie Lake reservoir in Turawa contains the macrophyte known as spiked water milfoil—from an ecological standpoint, submerged vegetation is beneficial. Spike-leaved pondweed is not present in the swimming area, but it may occur in the remaining parts of Średnie Lake. On Średnie Lake, there is an island with an area of approximately 0.3 ha covered with trees and shrubs. To date, Średnie Lake in Turawa has served as a swimming area. The reservoir is used for fishing by the Opole branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW). Within the swimming area, there is a playground, a sports field, an outdoor gym, and a walking and biking path. A pedal boat and kayak rental service operates at the reservoir.
