The swimming area is a former natural resource extraction site, currently used as a recreational area. The swimming area is located near the left bank of the Dunajec River, approximately 175 meters from the riverbed. It is a closed, fenced-in area that serves as a recreational complex. Access to the swimming area is possible from the municipal road. The entire site constitutes a separate area used as a commercial recreational facility — mining operations on the aforementioned site ceased long ago, and the resulting reservoir is now used, among other things, for water sports and recreational fishing. In recent years, the site has been occasionally used as a swimming area. The swimming area is marked off with buoys, and lifeguard services are provided. The shoreline of the swimming area is 50 m long. There are no facilities or installations near the swimming area that could adversely affect the health of swimmers, for example, through the discharge of any type of pollution.
